About Erika
I was born and raised in Los Angeles County. I attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo for her Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology.
I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. Following this, I completed the Addiction Studies Program at Los Angeles Pierce College.

I began my career working in non-profit organizations in the San Fernando Valley, where I provided therapy to children, families, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and addiction. During this time, I also managed programs contracted through Los Angeles County and supervised interns working toward licensure as Marriage and Family Therapists.
I opened my private practice in 2009, with offices in Sherman Oaks and Tarzana, and began facilitating anger management groups. In 2011, I joined the Department of Psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, where I worked for six years.
Throughout my career, I have been actively involved in training and supervising interns and clinicians, both in private practice and within Kaiser Permanente. I also served on the teaching staff for the Extension Program at Loyola Marymount University, where I taught courses in Addiction Studies. While at Kaiser Permanente, I contributed to the development and facilitation of an intensive treatment program for adults experiencing work-related stress and psychological distress.
I work with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, and young adults who are motivated to improve their mental and emotional well-being. My approach integrates multiple evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to each client’s specific needs..
